Contract Termination: [SJS] D Valtteri Pulli contract terminated by the Sharks

A little bit of both but not entirely unexpected. They gave him a shot as an undrafted guy with physical tools but there isn't much ice time to go around when you sign a couple AHL vets and have some guys coming through like Mukhamadullin, Cagnoni, and Furlong as prospects the team probably sees more of a future from.
 
A decent project with NHL upside, but only makes sense when you can invest in accordingly. Didn't climb up the LHD depth chart enough to fully justify that.

I mean does he have NHL upside? I don’t think he does. Every time I watched him I just saw big. Nothing else.
