Russia has great talent but will they play as a team? I saw a recent thing on TV about them and the players themselves discussed how multiple players would go out to be the star and not play any kind of team game.

Id bet the reason Russia won the simulation was because Nabokov was probably their starting goaltender and had a much higher rating in the game (because it came out before the season starter) than his play would earn him now.

Despite UK not being famous for being a hockey hotbed, the best hockey related computer game does come from there and was used for this simulation. Plus it was made mainly by a finnish guy named Risto Remes

Besides, this has basically just as much credibility as the power rankings and such. We wont know a thing before the games are actually played.

We were just asked to run a sim on our game and see what came up. It's a prediction just like any other. Real life will take its own course and in a short while, we'll see how everything pans out.
