Obviously he will be forever known as Captain Spaulding first and foremost, but I remember him more as Ralph in “Spider Baby”

He did seem to go out of his way to attend conventions , etc and was reportedly very friendly to fans

Met him once briefly at a comic con, just happened to walk into him in the crowd. Funny how surprising that is when you know they're present. He was a large, imposing guy, and nice as could be to say hello to the others who ran up when they noticed him. Never heard a bad word about the guy either.

What!? I was literally just watching his scene in Kill Bill and looking for his cameo in Jackie Brown when I looked up his profile two nights ago, thinking I thought he had passed away years ago
