Should we jump on the great pool of FA coaches this offseason or should Quinn be allowed to continue the development of our young team and push for the playoffs next season?

EDIT:

For the record I don't believe he should be fired and the only reason the question is posed is because of the ridiculous number of good coaches unemployed at the moment as well as the evolution of the team eventually phasing Quinn out

No point in firing him. This team isn't a head coach away from winning a cup, or even a series. Going into his 3rd year, let's see what he can do once we get some depth on this team and then go from there. Can't fire coaches every couple of years just to hire the sexy name and expect to win. People think these coaches will magically come in and win games, this team has a lot of work to do.

This is a thread? Quinn was hired to help develop the plethora of young talent Gorton has been acquiring. You can see how big of an impact he’s had on ADA.

Is he the right guy to lead us to a Cup? Probably not, but we’re a few years away from that so let the man continue his thing.

I agree but there was a lot of talk throughout the play in GDT's about it so I wanted to gauge opinion

My opinion falls pretty much in line with yours although it is tempting with the coaches available at the moment

But I feel we should stay the course

I’m not sure the right option is on here. For me it’s no right now but let’s see how next year goes. I want to see continued progress. If the team stalls out or he loses the room, a decision time will become evident. It could be in January or June of 2021 but that’s when a decision can best be made whether to continue or cut bait.

Sometimes like players, coaches catch lightning in a bottle. There is no guarantee Gallant will be a success here It's not like he has the track record of Al Arbour or Scotty Bowman behind him. Look at the success the Q-Stache has had in Florida and he has a much better resume than Gallant.
Nothing against Gallant or the idea of Gallant eventually coaching the Rangers, but don't change for the sake of changing. Continuity can be a plus.
