So again hasnt he been convicted of anything outside of this vaccine story?
His situation with the ex wife seems pretty messy but these things can get very messy with allot of fake accusations specially when there’s a child envolved

I’m fine with the team as is but this guy is a top line lw consistant 30 goals scorer that also produced in hard games/playoffs
Not defending him at all, even if he hasn’t been charged allot of drama seems to follow this guy but innocent until proven guilty.
How many times have u read a women falsely accuse a guy of rape and stuff, even if proven innocent that’s a stain on the person

winning makes everyone forget, Kobe had a rough go and he was a hero at the end

all I care about is on the ice! Hopefully we have captains to deal with this bs like when matthews messed up

honestly this is a pretty easy no for me. Not often do you see players publicly come out and say they don't want to play with certain players. Even a guy like Josh Ho-Sang, who has had a bad reputation for as long as he has been in the limelight, has never had someone say they wouldn't ever want him on their team. It just doesn't happen.

I wouldn't touch Evander Kane with a 10 foot pole. I really couldn't care less how talented he is TBH

ya I am fairly confident there is a divided room in Vancouver for sure. Not entirely sure who is spearheading that divide, or even if it is 1 or multiple people.

Kane on the other hand has always been labeled as a bad teammate, dating back to his time in WPG. The fact that there was an article published this summer reporting several sharks players didn't want to play with him this year speaks volumes to me.

clearly he is not a good dude to be around. I am all for reclamation projects (JHS, Galchenyuk), but there are some players that are just way too big of a project. He is one of them

There have been reported instances where Kane almost fought with an assistant coach over where he should be positioned on the power play, there is general frustration among the team that Kane gets away with whatever he wants, and that because every veteran who could keep him in check in the past — Joe Pavelski, Joel Ward, Paul Martin and Joe Thornton — are now gone, things are out of control. Another league source suggested that Kane is now starting to rub off on Timo Meier (one of Kane’s few friends) in a negative way, affecting his on-ice production.
The team is trying to trade him. That said, he’s also back on the ice in San Jose and everyone seems to be operating under the assumption he’ll be back. It’s not likely another club will pick him up in a deal as many franchises will want to stay as far away from the trouble as possible.
The really sad part here is that it almost feels like the team, his teammates and the NHL are past the point of wanting to help the player work through whatever demons might be plaguing him. Instead, it’s almost as if the Sharks are crossing their collective fingers the NHL takes care of this problem and Kane’s contract is terminated based on something found in the gambling investigation.

Forget about what is true, or not in his past allegations. This is a problem that we don't need, as much as he's a very good power forward.

Peeps we have a really good team.... pm each other and have a meet and greet in the street I guess.

None of us, have seen this kind of great in a long time, lets get Matthews and Campbell signed up, they don't need to see this on the top social media board, to be encouraged. just my opinion.

How good are we, if those two leave...

Not long ago we all wanted these players and GM gone
Just scared this play is short term as usual

Yeah, I actually didn't realize either until I started digging because I wanted him too.

It's just not a good look for any team to take him on now.

There's a reason no team wants him, take the hint.

The argument that the team that does take the chance could hit a home run if he comes in and looks like the Kane of old is fair. But with all that is riding on this Leafs' season, sitting at the top of the standings, all four lines rolling, it's not worth the risk.

The only positive thing about Kane is he carries a hand gun not an AR 15.

I would feel uncomfortable to think he would be in Canada never mind on the Leafs.

The headlines will keep coming. The denials will keep coming.

Soon he will be in counseling, then his lawyer will drop him because he cannot pay. Yada Yada Yada. SSDD
