This season has always been a sink or swim situation for the core, my only concern is if management sits on their hands beyond a reasonable timeline with certain guys (Rielly by TDL marner by the Draft, but hopefully before although those kinds of trades are hard in season)

Bruce Boudreau is, had an interview and should have been hired at least as an assistant. He would have definitely gotten the most out of this team.,especially the powe play. Just to much experience to be ignored. Which obviously Dubas did and said your over experienced, just to hire his buddy. Keefe isn't ready he's learning on the job. Dubass is going to regret it!!

management is tied to the core.
for me, a Dubas replacement needs to come in and really evaluate 16 and 34.
2 years to sign Matthews before he holds all the cards.
I don’t think Dubas can be objective. He’s already unpopular, if trading 34 is inevitable, he’d probably not politically survive the backlash of the fan base.

Might be a good time to point out that every scene in “All For Nothing”, wherein Keefe gave a big in game swearing speech, the Leafs subsequently lost all those games.
Isn’t it funny when the team decided they wanted him fired everyone jumped on Babcock’s back. Now we’re at this point they’re gonna keep doing it and we just keep giving into them that’s not right
It's the coach's job to get the players to play... If they all aren't playing, accept 2 or 3, it's the coaches fault.
Whether it be motivational or the plan.
If the players arent good enough its the GM's fault as well. The core are above average and paid like they are the best, so..... it is a coaching problem.
Yeah. I remember many saying it's the players, not Babcock. Boy where they ever hounded for their opinion.

Its on the players who are professionals being paid millions to do their job to actually show up. Why do they need someone to pump them up in order to do their job?
You'd think getting paid a lot of money and having the ultimate dream of winning a cup would be enough motivation. Especially with how fast ones career can go by and the amount of disappointments and scrutiny this team has gone through.

They were right to.
This was the guy who scratched Spezza in the home opener with his friends and family in the crowd and was basically sabotaging his GM.
Not the coach any team should want.
What is everyone so mad at Mike Babcock is it because he made the team play for their paycheque were Sheldon Keith gives in the night off pretty much every night i’m sorry I thought you had to earn money not just be given lmao
