Rikard Grönborg & Jukka Jalonen. NVM they probably don't have NHL options in their contract like some players would.Who are the best available coaches right now?
This season has always been a sink or swim situation for the core, my only concern is if management sits on their hands beyond a reasonable timeline with certain guys (Rielly by TDL marner by the Draft, but hopefully before although those kinds of trades are hard in season)Its on the players now. Anybody calling for his firing is missing the plot.

Isn’t it funny when the team decided they wanted him fired everyone jumped on Babcock’s back. Now we’re at this point they’re gonna keep doing it and we just keep giving into them that’s not rightBabcock’s record after 6 games in the season he was fired: 3-2-1
Keefe 2-3-1
It's the coach's job to get the players to play... If they all aren't playing, accept 2 or 3, it's the coaches fault. Its on the players now. Anybody calling for his firing is missing the plot.
Yeah. I remember many saying it's the players, not Babcock. Boy where they ever hounded for their opinion.Isn’t it funny when the team decided they wanted him fired everyone jumped on Babcock’s back. Now we’re at this point they’re gonna keep doing it and we just keep giving into them that’s not right
Might be a good time to point out that every scene in “All For Nothing”, wherein Keefe gave a big in game swearing speech, the Leafs subsequently lost all those games.

And the dude that played victim then put a knife to the teams neck.Isn’t it funny when the team decided they wanted him fired everyone jumped on Babcock’s back. Now we’re at this point they’re gonna keep doing it and we just keep giving into them that’s not right
That's like a sales manager telling the CEO 'sales are on my team now' No...you were hired as a manager to GET RESULTS FROM THE TEAMIts on the players now. Anybody calling for his firing is missing the plot.
Its on the players who are professionals being paid millions to do their job to actually show up. Why do they need someone to pump them up in order to do their job? It's the coach's job to get the players to play... If they all aren't playing, accept 2 or 3, it's the coaches fault.
Whether it be motivational or the plan.
If the players arent good enough its the GM's fault as well. The core are above average and paid like they are the best, so..... it is a coaching problem.
They were right to.Isn’t it funny when the team decided they wanted him fired everyone jumped on Babcock’s back. Now we’re at this point they’re gonna keep doing it and we just keep giving into them that’s not right
They were right to.
This was the guy who scratched Spezza in the home opener with his friends and family in the crowd and was basically sabota
Not the coach any team should want.[ QUOTE
