I think my opinion on the Sasquatch are more realistic than uber-human mythos that surrounds a guy who disappears come second round of the playoffs and has never dominated all aspects of defensive play.

You may need to watch more hockey around the league if you think Weber disappears in the POs.

In fact, your whole narrative is based on a false belief, the belief that Weber disappears in the PO.

But Ive already established you are a waste of my time.

So easy to block his shot amirite
Phoenix absolutely did when Nashville was Cup-hunting. Seven shots in that game 5. Goose-egg for that effort. 1 assist in five games. Terrible on a tragic level.

Vancouver shut him out the year prior for seven games
Shea Weber 2010-11 Game Log | Hockey-Reference.com

In seven games against San Jose, he managed to post 2 points in 1 game. The remaining 6 games, Mr. Weber went Sasquatch and hid in the forest and took a crap in his attempts to hide.

Let's not even get started on his split stats, where he is far more mortal without last change on the road. Nearly the same amount of games, but significantly less shots and goals when on the road outside of his natural home habitat.

Destroying the Ottawa Senators is a far cry from blowing a slapshot past a playoff-caliber penalty kill.

I’m sold. Let’s trade that fake-ass piece of shit before another GM find your post and share it on a « GM only Kik group »

Might as well pull up the stats from his backyard games from when he was 5 years old too. In the meantime, Weber is still firing missiles and the stats back it up too. You'd think people would have figured it out by now but nope.

Lol, those playoffs are of him at his physical peak. Shea Weber folds once the playoffs get tough. 2nd round and later, he goes Pleks.

Is any 15-20 goal scorer that intimidating? You make it sound like he scores like MaxPac or Ovechkin here. Or if you want to stick to Dmen, the more prolific Brent Burns.

Weber actually plays defense unlike Burns. And yes his goalscoring is intimidating.

Just because these stats are 8 years old doesn't make them any less relevant. These were his prime years and there's a trend here. What's laughable is that he had some good games against bottom feeders like Ottawa, Chicago and the Rangers and suddenly he's the next coming of Bobby Orr.

14 goals in 65 playoff games. This is a undisputed fact.

Nobody ever said he's the next Bobby Orr. People actually said the opposite. That his age and injuries will slow him down a lot. Well that's not the case so far.

As for goals in the playoffs, Subban is my favourite player in the NHL and he has 17 goals in 90 games.

Is 14 goals in 65 games supposed to be bad? .... its three less than Subban
