I would not be suprised if he is on the Rangers already or in the next few weeks and deal just has not been announced like the Brassard trade which was ready on draft day but just was held off because of a bonus.

A source based in the Hamptons where Shattenkirk spends most of his summers, and has ties to he and his agent, told me that they are trying to orchestrate a deal to the Rangers.

I am assuming that Shattenkirk's agent is talking to Doug Armstrong about having him being moved and wanting to play for NYR now instead of wait another season and sign as an FA. I would like to see something around Nash @ 40% + or Klein + 3rd + Jensen/Lindberg.

Nash at 40% wouldnt work because then we'd have a huge hole in our fowards with no assets to fill it. That Klein deal however is fairly realistic. Although, i'd like to see something like Nash ++ for Shattenkirk and a forward.
