The announcers mentioned the Sharks record when both Thornton and Marleau scores in the same game. Did anyone happen to catch what the record was?

I believe the Sharks are still 100% when Marleau scores this season.

Despite a badish save percentage Jones was really awesome. Made a bunch of really tough saves at key times.

Very loose game, not much defense supporting either goalie. I thought Boston could have easily spent 3x times in the sin bin.

Marleau on TV postgame interview:

- everybody was involved, takes everybody to win, you don't want to have some guys going and some guys not, you want everybody pulling in the same direction, getting those W's
- when they're pressing, you gotta do whatever it takes to get the puck out and relieve pressure, play your game even if D pairings and lines change
- [on his goal] Pickles got a shot, he was able to pick up some trash and put it in the net // kinda like the goal the other night
- if the puck's going to the net, you gotta go there and pick up some loose pucks
- [on playing on the PP with a slim lead near the end of the game] they're aware of the score and the time so they might be cheating the other way, gotta try not to make high risk plays, and hurry back if there is a turnover

Jones on radio postgame interview:

- these are important games to win, they don't always go how you draw them up, but they battled out and got the two points
- the more you play, the more comfortable you're gonna get, he's just taking it all in as he goes and trying to get better
- good challenge for a team playing top guys whether it's a goalie or forward or Dman, Jones wants to establish himself as one of those top guys
- even before the road trip, thought they were close in a lot of games, just got a couple bounces here and there and executed better all around the ice, a lot of little things
- [on the play where Dillon almost put the puck in his own net] Dillon made a good pass
- at the start of the trip, they wanted to focus on one game at a time, [even though, or because?] road trips can feel long and drawn out

Yea was different to see a weak performance with game saving saves. He made the saves that absolutely needed to be made, but would've been better if he saved that short side softy.

I missed the game. Everybody doing good tonight ?

Ups and down. PK still sucks. Defense left Jones out to dry quite a bit. Forwards doing the offense thing pretty good though. Haley and Brown still suck. Nieto might be injured or benched. Mueller not all that trusted. Lines 1,2, and 3 all played well for the most part.

The Sharks 5 on 5 were impressive. They had 9 high danger chances to the Bruins 1. The PK suffered from ****** bounces and missed assignments.

Thornton gets the game winner one 1 goal, 2 assists, for a total of 3 points, but the Boston organization cannot bring themselves to name his as one of the 3 stars of the game?

The 2nd assist on the first goal was initially given to Thornton, then Burns, and now back to Thornton.
I think the score-sheet at the end of the game had it at Burns with 3 assists.

I know he let in 4 goals, but Jones wasn't "soft". He made some really really good saves. The D let him out to dry though. The first PP goal, really was just a bit of luck (And I thought the PK looked really solid, really full of energy and aggressive on that kill) and the next goal, the D just left Eriksson in front of the net with no one even close to him. If that shot didn't hit Jones' body, then it was going in.

Just watched the game on DVR. Hell of a game. Not a good game by Jones statistically but most of those goals were poor plays by skaters in front of him. He made the big save when it counted and you take a win any way you can get it. They need to scratch Brown though. He was terrible. The top three lines all looked really good. Dillon needs to work on his up pass decisions but was otherwise good. Thornton's goal was perfect power play execution.
