We gave up a ton of shots, but I didn't think much of it was exceedingly threatening. And while I'm still not sold on it as a stat, the 5v5 xG agrees

Ugly, greasy, gritty win for us. Wasn't pretty at all as we pretty much got dominated first 35 minutes of the game.

Final 5 minutes of the 2nd tho and most of the 3rd period we figured it out and sometimes you need to win games when your goaltender stands on his head...tonight was one of them games.

Igor will be a finalist for the Vezina if not win it next year...mark my words!

I'm in disbelief but also elated at same time but playoffs is not far fetched as it really does look like we have a decent chance to sneak in.

And if we do somehow get in, we are going to be a tough out for anyone who has the displeasure of playing us that I'm convinced about cause in playoffs when you have a dominant goalie like Igor appears to be, he can steal a series pretty much by himself.

My 3 stars are pretty easy....Igor, Panarin and Fast with an HM to Mika who continues to be amazing.

I love this team...I really do. Alot of fun to watch even when we play pretty shitty like tonight.

HUGE game vs Islanders coming up on Tuesday in what will be the most important intense game of the season...can't' wait!!
