Believe he got hurt and did most of if not all his scoring on the power play
Yup - his play wasn't great

All Dickinson. The Knights are 23-4-0, with a +55 goal differential and 30.6% PP success rate. Wow.
Here’s a link to the highlight. Unfortunately both our London players got victimized here. But definitely just have to tip your cap to Sennecke on this one.The Knights have been a complete disaster any time Dickinson isn't on the ice tonight. As I type this, Sennecke scores an insane highlight reel dangle against Sam, but frankly I don't think anyone would have played that any better, just an insane skill play by Sennecke.
Up until that goal (less than ten minutes left in the third period), I had been thinking Dickinson was having an excellent defensive game and Sennecke had been pretty bad at even strength. Dude can really build a highlight-reel, I'll give him that.

Sennecke Goal
here's the clip. would agree with you. who even comes up with plays like that.
That's the next area I'd like to see Dickinson show some growth in. Put people on their ass once in a while.Honestly, the toe drag between the legs is almost always made when trying to go wide around a dman. Dickinson is in good position, but when Sennecke did it, the fact that it worked going inside makes me think Dickinson expected him to go outside. As a Sharks’ fan, I’m going to say that beating Dickinson in this case was entirely accidental. If Dickinson maintains body position Sennecke goes nowhere, but he chased the puck with his stick and body. He should have leveled him.
Yeah, the only thing he really could have done is just level him. Sennecke had been falling all over the ice all game, turning pucks over, etc.Honestly, the toe drag between the legs is almost always made when trying to go wide around a dman. I don't mean to sound like a salty Sharks fan, but I had been team "how on earth do you leave Sennecke off the WJC team" until last night's game. He was completely ineffective at 5v5 until the highlight reel goal unless he was making bad passes or falling down. I can see why he's left off a team in an elimination style tournament.
Sam has been really effective stopppng cycles by simply pinning his check and letting his teammate grab the puck. Really good stuff. I know the physicality is in there somewhere.
That’s all he needed to do. He doesn’t have to hit him, just maintain position.I hear the “level him” argument, and it probably leads to a better result than the puck hunting Dickinson does here. But, not being someone anyone else would confuse with a hockey tactics game expert, seems like Dickinson simply getting into Sennecke’s body would have disrupted the play; I don’t think he even needs to go for leveling him, just playing his body probably disrupts the timing enough that Sennecke loses the puck or the back checkers can support the play.
This is the answer. Protect the middle of the ice and force him wide. That’s all he needed to do. He doesn’t have to hit him, just maintain position.
I mean that’s the play to make honestly lolHE SHOULD HAVE LEVELED HIM HE'S A DUCK!!!!!
