NHL Hockey StandingsNhl.com says 25. I am going to trust the actual leagues numbers over a 3rd party one.
GF collumn says 28.

Just joining this game, Balcers name is pronounced Ball-sers? I ain't down for this pronunciation, waive him
ESPN says 28. Actually so does NHL.com... What are you looking at? Refresh your browser dude...
Yay a Randy blown call. It's our comfort food at this point lol.
That's really odd. Why the discrepancy across multiple sites like that? The GAA is wrong on that link too. Sharks have scored 28 before this game. That page you're looking at hasn't been updated for some reason. The results from the last game aren't entered.Gf says 25 NHL Stats
Not sure who to thank, but someone finally got these guys to start passing with a purpose. Looks night and day different today
Who are these guys that we are watching? Looks like a completely different team.
Playing against a porous, inexperienced, horrible defense will do that.
Obligatory mention that the Sharks really should never have moved Marleau to the wing.
We've had good 1st periods. They're heinously bad in 2nd and 3rd periods for the most part.Who are these guys that we are watching? Looks like a completely different team.
Both the NHL and ESPN are counting that in the GF total though. Why would both choose to calculate it with those goals if you're saying they don't count toward the total?I think that 28 is counting the "goal" for winning a shootout.
If you manually add up goals scored and discount SO ones it's 25.
1/14 vs Ari = 3 +1 for SO
1/16 vs Ari = 3 (total 6)
1/18 vs Stl = 4 ( total 10)
1/20 vs Stl = 1 (total 11) + 1 for SO
1/22 vs Min = 1 (total 12)
1/24 vs Min = 5 (total 17)
1/26 vs Col = 3 (total 20)
1/28 vs Col = 0
2/5 vs Ana = 4 (total 24) + 1 for SO
2/6 vs ana = 1 (total 25)
That's 25, or 28 if you wrongly count the shootout "goals" on the final scoresheet in the Goals For column.
Both the NHL and ESPN are counting that in the GF total though.
And what exactly about this off-season suggested that the Sharks were really going for it??That they are rebuilding.....
Yep. A recent (at least more than La) conference championship is chopped liver.Consequences of winning cups? Paid their core post-cup and now they mostly suck.
