ESPN says 28. Actually so does NHL.com... What are you looking at? Refresh your browser dude...

I think that 28 is counting the "goal" for winning a shootout.

If you manually add up goals scored and discount SO ones it's 25.

1/14 vs Ari = 3 +1 for SO
1/16 vs Ari = 3 (total 6)
1/18 vs Stl = 4 ( total 10)
1/20 vs Stl = 1 (total 11) + 1 for SO
1/22 vs Min = 1 (total 12)
1/24 vs Min = 5 (total 17)
1/26 vs Col = 3 (total 20)
1/28 vs Col = 0
2/5 vs Ana = 4 (total 24) + 1 for SO
2/6 vs ana = 1 (total 25)

That's 25, or 28 if you wrongly count the shootout "goals" on the final scoresheet in the Goals For column.

Not sure who to thank, but someone finally got these guys to start passing with a purpose. Looks night and day different today

That's really odd. Why the discrepancy across multiple sites like that? The GAA is wrong on that link too. Sharks have scored 28 before this game. That page you're looking at hasn't been updated for some reason. The results from the last game aren't entered.

Playing against a porous, inexperienced, horrible defense will do that.

Obligatory mention that the Sharks really should never have moved Marleau to the wing.

Gregor can learn a lot watching and playing with Marleau as I'm sure they will share center duties while they're out there.

Both the NHL and ESPN are counting that in the GF total though. Why would both choose to calculate it with those goals if you're saying they don't count toward the total?

Say what you will about the rest of the Kings D, but Doughty is kidding himself if he thinks he is Olympic material.

Yeah, and they shouldn't. Because it's not really a goal in the traditional sense. It's possible that whoever or whatever they've set up to record goals for is just scraping box score results and adding them up without looking at context.
