Honestly, who cares? He's a Kraken and Slaf is a Hab. I get many expected us to draft Wright and if stories are accurate, he didn't interview well, but whatever, He's a non-issue for us now and it's really irrelevant how he interviewed with us at this point.

TL/DR: Through a combination of the scout's reviews, the management interviews and maybe combine results, we didn't draft Wright and despite preferring him personally, I'm fine with the decision with Slaf.

I don't, it's just a tongue in cheek post to have some fun. But it would be interesting to hear the closed door discussions more than his actual interview and that goes for other players as well. No scout will ever come out and say, "that guy is a complete flake, or sucks, or has zero business in the NHL". Fly on the wall moment is all.

For my own sanity, I do hope you're not being serious here.

I really hope Wright has a respectable career because he doesn’t come from a hockey family and was generally considered a humble and nice kid. The pressure of the draft rattled him unfortunately.

Slaf does give off goofy self confident vibes that Wright could never.
