Perhaps...

Pinto played primarily with Tkachuk and Batherson last year, might not be Stone, but not to shabby.
Pinto was playing better before his injury and has just started to come around. I would love it if he just focused on the details of his game and would be goto option defensively and let the points come off turnovers he and his line creates.

Pinto was 17 and 8 68% on faceoffs at 5v5 vs Nashville

Still in a dry spell but he is finding a way to contribute

His line was very good vs Nashville.
Signs of life for sure. Thought he looked much better last night and has been trending up.

Again, no production, but Amadio was all over the puck last night too. Liked that line.

Edit: Amadio did have an assist

should offer him an 8 year extension at 4 million in the offseason, although he would probably bet on himself but we should definitely try

"They are incredibly flexible. I can start them in the offensive zone, the D zone or the neutral zone and they won't score a goal. It is hard to find that sort of consistency out of a middle six group.

Oh ya, they can win draws and play some D."
I am sure he'd like them to produce more like everyone else. You can still contribute in a positive way even if you are not producing

As if people would ever doubt his talent or drive. Something's wrong with him health wise, he's still the same kid we all loved, come on.

I'm joking, but this is getting ridiculous. We need production from him to get into the playoff race.

Even if he had 4 goals by now we could be in a much better position. Being good at draws and defensively responsible is not enough right now.

Green needs to shake Pinto up and find a way to help him get going.

Swap him with Giroux

Who is questioning any of the above?

I am only questioning his results. He NEEDS to be scoring for the team to have success.

It is impossible to gain traction and win consistently if we only have Stu, Brady, Norris, Bath and Gaud scoring.

Add Greig into the mix as well as Amadio, but they don't come with the pedigree and history that Pinto has. I believe he is trying, he just has to find the back of the net.

He barely missed the empty net against the Preds with 0.5 of a second left, and I felt awful for him as that would have taken so much pressure away. Sometimes that's all these guys need to get going.
