Nice. New bulbs feel kind of like a new projector. I bought a Laser model a couple years ago and have been happy with it but I almost miss that rejuvenating excitement coming periodically.
Ya nothing wrong with wall mounted. I did worry the 85" might be harder to pull out and rotate/tilt, but it probably would have been fine. I've got an old 50" wall mounted next to the 85" for the odd times I want to watch 2 games at the same time.
Those links showed weird, just amazon.ca for some reason. Speaking of links, I linked the wrong rtings review. Correct one is below. I bought the 90L over the 95L because the premium didn't seem worth it.
I wouldn't expect miracles from a Shield Pro on the same TV with the same content. I have one and its upscaling is decent but nothing that's going to change your experience significantly on the same display, imo. I also have Zidoo boxes with my local server content and it depends more on what I feed it as to what looks good or bad than what the box is doing to the content. That's consistent on all my displays. Its hard to say without knowing the quality of the IPTV stream, but it could just be that garbage in garbage out scenario. Maybe another display like the Sony handles it better playing to its strengths, but the C9 you have is still a high end TV. I don't think Sony's processing is going to put it over the top and be worth a purchase for that reason alone. The Sony question is more of a LED vs. OLED debate of the tech trade offs and the type of room you're putting it in.
