Trust me when I say this: Old Montreal is not the coolest part of town and hipsters rarely hang out there.

I say this as a guy that's been called a hipster many times haha. I live in the Mile End area and sadly it's become the go to place for all the wannabe cool kids. Still the best neighborhood in the city to live in though.

But yes, Old Montreal is still the best place to visit as a tourist as well as the Olympic park area(Biodome etc). If anyone needs restaurant suggestions ask away as well.

Cool as in I think it's the coolest part of the city. It has character and flavour to it. Downtown Montreal just feels like every other big city I've ever been to. Old Montreal is special.

Montreal as a whole is hipster central :p

Seeing Motion City Soundtrack, The Flaming Lips, and Empire of the Sun this Sunday at a small music festival where I live. I've seen Motion City Soundtrack like 3 times in less than a year now randomly. Once in Detroit, then I got a free ticket to go in Grand Rapids, and now here. I'm a real groupie.

Exactly. And if you look at his track record he actually does what he says. He's gaining numbers by the thousands right now and it's getting me all excited. I can see why people are starting to notice him finally, he speaks to the people like actual people and all of his views are rational and make sense. I actually donated to his campaign, my first political donation ever.

If you buy an American mutual fund or a stock you take a cut of a few percentage points just off of currency conversion.. Not the funnest way to start off. It's probably better for tourism and the Canadian economy in general but as a Canadian investor it's not.

Regardless, Canada's low dollar has more to do with Harper dropping our economy all over the kitchen floor, and less to do with who the POTUS is.

If that was the case I'd think it's kind of a genius move, but knowing how massive Trump's ego is, I'm sure he's either very serious about this, or completely out of the loop about what the real plan is.
