The best poutine that I have ever had, was at a place in Quebec City called Ashton's or something similar to that. They served their poutines in a metal pie dish and it was heavenly.

Ashton's is a Quebec City only franchise and it definitely is way up there.

Another great poutine place in QCC is Pat Retro in Sillery, fantastic stuff

he hasn't been arrested yet. hope he is 100% guilty or his life has been ruined despite potentially being innocent.

however, **** subway and their ****ing cartoon monkey

My friend works for the Winnipeg Police investigating Child Pornography...basically, when they've gotten the warrant to raid your house and seize your computer, they basically already have what they need on you because they've been tracking your download activity for months now based on the sites you visit.

I know it's "innocent until proven guilty" but this is the equivalent of having the cops walk in on you murdering someone in terms of evidence. Mainly because if they're not 100% sure he's arrestable, the corresponding lawsuits for defamation are massive.

Aren't their ways to mask your isp (static vs non-static isps), or to use other computers as "zombie" computers (where the owner of the 'zombie' pc would have no idea his pc was being used to spread worms/viruses, etc).

What I mean is, wouldn't someone with good computer know-how be able to mask what they're doing and put the blame on a different computer (and user) that isn't as well protected/knowledgeable?

They are talking about Inside Out.

Which is in my opinion probably the best movie Pixar has ever produced.

It's definitely in the Top 5, easily.

Trying to think of my favorites... Toy Story 3 was ridiculously good, The Incredibles, Toy Story 2... I think those are the only Pixar movies that you can make an argument about being better than Inside Out.

My own personal top-5 list is probably:
1) Toy Story 3
2) Inside Out
3) The Incredibles
4) Toy Story 2
5) Wall-E

The police are aware of those possibilities which is why just downloading it isn't enough to get a warrant on a computer. They have highly trained computer experts who work to detect IP masks or "ghosting" situations. Like I was saying, the risk of a defamation lawsuit makes sure these guys have to have a smoking gun before a judge issues a warrant.

The police probably tapped his internet and read the packets MAC Address.

UP doesn't make the Top 5? It's probably my 2nd favorite after Toy Story 3.

It was my solid #6. It was in the Top-5 until Inside Out knocked it out.

I think it suffers from kind of a weak final 20-ish minutes. I mean, it only suffers by Pixar standards, compared to regular movies it's still a totally fine ending.

Toy Story 3 didn't hold up for me on a second viewing. Still Pixar doing what Pixar does; make good films. I feel like 1 & 2 are superior, but I can see the argument for having 3 at the top.

Pixar films are always tough to compare because I feel that a good chunk of them are so close in terms of quality (except for Cars).

I know most people put Toy Story 3 above 2, but I can't really wrap my head around it. I always thought Toy Story 2 was hands down the best Toy Story movie.

As for my list:

1. Inside Out
2. Wall-E
3. The Incredibles
4. Finding Nemo
5. Up

Funny stuff at work today

The government of Canada had the URL ukrconsulate.com as the website for the Ukranian Consulate in Toronto and we were giving it to the public

So, you know the question, "What came first: The chicken or the egg?"

What about for humans ? Was the first human male or female? I have a feeling that we actually originate, sexually, from coconuts. They're a big hairy ball, but they're filled with milk. Kinda like a male mixed with a female.

Breakfast joke

My top-5 Pixar movies, and I had to think about this a lot as there's definitely not much difference between #5 and the next few movies.

1. The Incredibles
2. Toy Story 2
3. Wall-E
4. Finding Nemo
5. Up

Inside Out, Toy Story, Toy Story 3 and Ratatouille are all amazing and aren't far behind at all.

I really am looking forward to the return of Brad Bird at Pixar to direct The Incredibles sequel.

From what I've read he doesn't seem to be directly concerned, it's an employee from his foundation whom the FBI is after.

If Jared is completely innocent, I sincerely hope Subway apologizes for cutting ties with him so quickly before any sort of viable info is released.

well if every title about the matter is going to include 'Subway spokesman', i don't blame them for suspending the relationship

Yeah, I just read the follow up article. Seems like this is connected to his foundation president but it is weird that he and Subway "mutually agreed" to part ways so quickly.

Let's wait for all the facts to come out before they tar and feather him.

It makes them look worse that they are cutting ties with him despite there being no actual evidence against him, and the headlines will still mention the Subway thing whatever they do.
