Ninja-edit: lost my picks. Dammit.

Non-subjective list of best movies ever made: Memento, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption.

Music: blink-182, Offspring, Childish Gambino.

TV: Breaking Bad, Archer, HIMYM (yes, even the awful ending.)

Good discussion subject!

3) Major League
3) Pearl Jam
3) Arrested Development
Underrated sports movie, appropriately rated band and appropriately rated TV show. All awesome. Good picks.

I like a lot of stuff by the Foo Fighters tho.
Bob's Burgers
(Rick & Morty will probably get into this list in the future)
You. I like you.
Fleetwood Mac
Seeing them this weekend. Could not be more excited. Chain, chain, chain, keep us together...

This is in my top-10, easy. Great flick.

(Rick & Morty will probably get into this list in the future)
If Rick & Morty can get three seasons in, it might make my top-3. Show is absolutely flipping genius, but I can't put it in my top-3 based on only one season. You need longevity to make that list.

Incidentally, that is the reason Firefly didn't make my top-3. It's in the top-10, but only having the one season limits how high I can rank it.

Night Court

Gladiator

I've always had a hard time getting into Gladiator, to be honest. It's a good movie, but I thought it was overhyped and not nearly as good as everyone else thought... it's a good movie, but it's not "Best Picture" good.

80s: Pixies
Beauty. Pixies are my #4. I tried so hard to make them my #3, or even a shared #3 ranking, but Pearl Jam wins by a whisker. By the slightest of margins. By the width of the edge of a sheet of paper.

Exactly what I was thinking. Loved the first season but it's gotta keep it up a bit longer.

Scott Pilgrim was fantastic. Loved everything about it. I bought my EX the soundtrack on vinyl for Christmas one year. It was transparent red instead of black. Pretty cool.

Another show that is tops on my list is Mad Men. I will be happy when it is done though. The later seasons were not as good as the early ones imho.

Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds, Stranger than Fiction
.

Pretty much every Tarantino movie has at least one scene in it that is unforgettable. And Christoph Waltz' performance in Inglorious Basterds is unreal.

But my movies list is:

The Godfather
13 Days
From Russia With Love

Very close to the top are Bull Durham, A Few Good Men and Jaws (a movie that is not nearly as appreciated as it should be).

For TV:
The Simpsons (first 3 or 4 seasons)
Hill St Blues
Late Night With David Letterman (1985 to 1989 - when I was in University)

Music is impossible for me, too many artists that I've loved at least small slice of their work, but none that stand head and shoulders above the others.

So many TV shows and movies I could include and several that I think are better than the ones I listed, but are not necessarily higher on my personal favourite list right now.
