Ducks fan and Sens sympathizer living in their territory. The value favors Anaheim, I firmly believe Brannstrom is the more valuable asset. However, the fit in my opinion is pretty bad both ways.

Brannstrom is just about the last type of player the Ducks need right now. They have their smaller young D in Drysdale, and another coming in Zellweger. They've just traded Manson and have very little physicality or size on their current blueline nor in their pipeline. Conversely, they may be about to trade one of only two proven 20 goal scorers on the team in Rakell. Comtois just led the team in scoring last season as a 21/22 year old, and represents one of the biggest needs on the roster. So while he may be struggling which has led to rumors of availability, it makes no sense to sell him off unless the return is something that really fits with what the Ducks are building.

On the other side, the Sens have more good young forwards then you can shake a stick at, and they are crying out for impact help on the back end. So I really fail to see why trading one of their highest upside young D for a struggling young winger would accomplish any of their goals.
