Gave up more shots than we got!So is everybody happy that we won tonight or is there something to complain about?

It'd be nice if the fans at CTC starting chanting his name too.Man Jensen looks like Zub in his debut season with the Sens. Just good everywhere
I think I heard it on CIH podcast, but he's very popular in the room, boys love him. He also gives Ullmark big hugs too.I know he has a rat rep but Cousins seems to like his teammates a lot
Made me laugh on the Pinto goal he hugged him like 3 times
Some Caps fans said that last year, he was paired with not very good D which could explain his down year. But he's been great with pretty much every D man on this roster. Hope he's ageless like Jagr and that he likes it here. SS hit a home run with that trade.Caps fans calling him washed had me worried, but he's been amazing
Not appealing to me.Dr. Pepper and a healthy squeeze of lemon.
I flip between Guiness and Coores Light; strange but true.I finished off the Kilkennys in my fridge a couple days ago. But I definitely prefer Guinness.

I don't like the outshot part; its indicative of loose play.Outshot but not beat
Smothering defence was key
Ullmark victory
Actually, all production came with the 3rd line on the ice. Honorable mention to Cousins/Amadio as they setup or assisted on all 3 goals. That line is really clicking and playing so well defensively.Great games by Ullmark, Jensen and Pinto.
I don't want to wreck my Lagavulin!Best mixed whiskey drink is a manhattan…. Whiskey, red vermouth, orange bitters, maraschino cherries and juice. I substitute port or a similar fortified red wine for the vermouth. Almost any whiskey works in this.
Try it!
I want a real PO position; not a wild card spot. This team has to play better and win more consistently; hopefully they will do so over the next 10 games.Glad to see Pinto score one tonight.
Jensen playing like a man possessed the last few games especially.
Ullmark caught fire lately. Things are trending in the right direction; we're now in the mix for the last wildcard spot.
We need to win against Pittsburgh to leapfrog a couple teams and then make hay where we can on this road trip.
Cousins and Amadio have been playing really well with Pinto lately, Perron is dealing with stuff at home and now an injury so hard to judge that acquisition at the moment. I'm happy with all of the moves, starting to see the results. Some questionable moves this offseason, but f*** Ullmark and jensen are not them
Now I want to see them put the same effort tonight. It's not about the opponent, it's being hungry for those 2 points and doing what it takes to win.A hot Ullmark can carry a team to PO's, but we actually have a good roster too.
Hella encouraging. Was sorta skeptical of the last couple since it was bad teams, but this different.
For all the hate he gets, Green brings up Amadio's play as a positive like every 2nd game. I think that line has been terrific lately and was only a matter of time to get on the scoresheet. Lots of point blank chances lately.Cousins and Amadio have been playing really well with Pinto lately, Perron is dealing with stuff at home and now an injury so hard to judge that acquisition at the moment. Nice to see he's learning that there is more than one way to contribute, it's not only on the scoresheet. That smile he had after the game was priceless, don't think I've ever seem him happier.Brady with a big block in the dying minutes and some nice defensive plays this game.
They outshoot pretty much every team in the league, that’s what they do, take a lot of shots.I flip between Guiness and Coores Light; strange but true.

Anyone have the deserve to win meter?Gave up more shots than we got!
+ there's another B2B next weekend + 2 games in between. Let Ullmark play the 17th, 19th and the 22nd before the xmas break. If they want to play Ullmark tonight because it's the last home game for awhile, then give him the 17th off against Utah, play him the 19th and 21 or 22. The last thing we want is for him to get injured when the team is starting to play really well (him included). Also, have to give Forsey a chance to get his game going. Not practical to play Ullmark too much. He's never been a starter before so wouldn't want him playing more than 55-58 games this year. If they make the playoffs, want him to be in top shape. Not sure about Ullmark getting the start tomorrow though. Supposedly traveling from Raleigh is tougher than other East teams and he had quite a bit of work tonight.
I think the positive moves have been acquiring Jensen, Gaudette and Ullmark. The disappointments have been Perron and Amadio; costly acquisitions who are not providing commensurate value. The meh are Cousins and Gregor, their cost is low.Cousins and Amadio have been playing really well with Pinto lately, Perron is dealing with stuff at home and now an injury so hard to judge that acquisition at the moment. It's starting to come around, yeah. Cousins was always gonna be a 4th liner, so I can't comment negatively at all there. Same with Gregor. Amadio I wanted more offense from, but it's encouraging to see him and Pinto start to gel for sure.Cousins and Amadio have been playing really well with Pinto lately, Perron is dealing with stuff at home and now an injury so hard to judge that acquisition at the moment. I should have read on, that's basically the idea I was going for.I think the positive moves have been acquiring Jensen, Gaudette and Ullmark. This shows that there is more work to be done to make this team into a playoff team and become a top Stanley Cup contender,
Defending when we do not have the puck is key to getting better and becoming a consistent playoff team and a true top challenger for the SC.They outshoot pretty much every team in the league, that’s what they do, take a lot of shots.
That 3rd line has been playing some really good hockey the last few games. Tonight's game just showed how much chemistry they've developed.I dunno. I'd leave Gaudette and drop Cousins to the press box (or move Cousins to 4L and Ostapchuck to Belleville, let Greig take 4C). Perron - Pinto - Amadio
Must manage Ullmark's work; back-to-backs are too tough on goaltenders. Forsberg will hopefully shine!+ there's another B2B next weekend + 2 games in between. In this case, it was more an indication of us not taking any risks offensively in the third period, we barely took any shots, but only gave up 1 HDCA in the periodI don't like the outshot part; its indicative of loose play.
You missed a good one. It was the Ullmark, Jenson, 3rd line show. Pinto's 1st goal doesn't happen without Jensen, Jensen's goal doesn't happen without Cousins/Pinto and Amadio screening. Pinto's empty netter again due to Jensen and his linemates.f*** missed the game for work Christmas party, so safe to say Sens > NHL??
Pinto scored yeah, Ullmark finally gets his shutout, Go Sens Go!!!
