Glad to see Pinto score one tonight.

Jensen playing like a man possessed the last few games especially.
Ullmark caught fire lately. Things are trending in the right direction; we're now in the mix for the last wildcard spot.

We need to win against Pittsburgh to leapfrog a couple teams and then make hay where we can on this road trip.

Happiest I've been after a win this season! Jensen, what a boss! Dat 3rd line buzzing all night! Celebrating with some (too much?) plum wine over here!

I can't believe we're wasting at least hundreds of thousands of dollars on an analytics team while we have Hamonic on the ice. What's the point?
??? We have just one dude on payroll, and they've probably equipped him with a Commodore 64 and tasked him full time with projecting the height of the 2025 draft class. Analytics budget probably is below 100K.
I've not seen or heard of such a thing (in Ontario). But that is totally combining 2 of my favorite things (Julie Andrews...'tis the season).
I'm not even a big jazz guy but you gotta love Coltrane's version:

that’s the fastest we’ve seen them play all season. Green loves to roll his lines and everyone eats in a win. The ice time is so balanced, short shifts for everyone and it keeps their speed up.

Disciplined win in terms of playing the system. Ostapchuk also stepping up with an injury and playing the very next game saying ‘no one is taking my spot’ and Green trusting him is another huge step. Really like this kid, he has Western Hockey League values

f***ing no way I play Forsberg tomorrow.

So true. Chabot has been key to the team turning it around. What a turnaround.

Yea, no way I play Forsberg today.

Also, I want last night's version of Chabot to be the norm, not the outlier. I feel for 8 million, he should play like that every night. It almost seems, though, that Jensen is continually outplaying him too. That's not acceptable. Chabot was well worth his price-tag last night. But it must, must be consistent as he is my prime candidate to ship out for shifting team/culture/reallocating the money for 2 good assets. Last night was a lot of old Chabot. A guy who legit looked like our veteran and leader out there. We will see what he's made of during this 9 game road-trip.

Win the next two and we pass Boston.

3rd in the atlantic is the target. That spot is how we get in.
