In reading the main boards, I'm sort of taken aback at the level of Hab hate by a lot of Sen fans and I just don't get it. The Habs lost last year and most of us have accepted it and moved on... Not the Sens. Even though they won, it seems like the hate grew quite significantly during the season and that any type of dissapointment and anger with how the Sens competed during the season was transfered to the Habs. What's up with the rabid Bruins level of unadulterated hate?

They are in search of a rival and the Habs are the only logical fit currently. The battle of Ontario hasn't been interesting in how many years now? As Habs fans we already have our main rivals (Bruins and to a lesser degree the Leafs), so the Sens are like an annoying little blip on the radar, but to them we're their only hope to have some sort of meaningful rivalry. It's sad really. My advice is to just pat them on the head, inform them that we're unavailable, and suggest they move on.

I noticed that too. My guess is they wanted to prove Karlsson was better than Subban so much but when Karlsson agreed that Subban was the better of the two, they just couldn't defend their position anymore and hatred grew in their hearts. :(

They're still trying to make themselves relevant... Plus they're probably still a little butthurt that they blew 3 goal leads the 2 last times they played us.
