Do Canadians really think 4th line NHLers are better as players like Reimer, Kahun or Macek?

As individual players? Probably not, but they are way more useful for teams if you look at the team structure. Also players like Kühnhackl easily made our national team during qualifiers and he is an NHL 4th liner

In hockey, the women did pretty well and the men's was always going to be a crap shoot.

Curling is less forgiveable IMO.

yes, he's been good. my favourite player by far

Yeah that's usually 3-4 golds. This year? 1. And it's in the new event. Horrible because the rest of the athletes delivered above expectations for sure.

EDIT: even though I agree with your general point that people who could play in the NHL would play there (outside of KHL) because they would earn more. Obviously some KHL players chose to stay in Russia
