That's because he's another playmaker being used on the same PP unit as Bäckström, who was #1 in PP points. Nylander should be running the second unit instead of standing in front of the goal for tip-ins.

They can have them on opposite sides... Nylander shoots R Backstrom shoots L. Just like Toronto does with Nylander and Matthews. So they can attack from either side of the ice.

Bäckström is an amazing playmaker and passer, pure hockey art. He could be slightly more physical but I forgive him.

He is physical enough. You can see him use his stick really hard to punish others in the back to bounce them off the puck...he does it perhaps 1-2 times per game, thats more physicality than 99 % of the other swedish stars are doing.

Washington has had the best PP in NHL for years and the closet thing they had to a player infront of the net is Johansson. You do not need big unskilled players.

Because they're not good enough. The turle defense is there for a reason.

When basically no Finnish NHL players come home, you have issues. Same as every small country.

Strålman and Hedman have been our best D overall in this tournament imo. Hedman is not putting up points but he is playing good...

They have been good, but Klingberg has clearly been better then them. Klingberg has been just as good defensivly and been a tier above them offensivly, so not so close to me.
