I wonder if there has ever been a game when Canada is struggling but the opponent doesn´t get milions of penalties for every **** reason you can get in order for Canada to have a chance to get back. Doesn´t really matter if you score a goal when it's 5v5 after more or less 15 mins of power play.. you run out of gas and can never get your game organized.

Canada just has to love having american refs everytime they play big games.

Nothing new, always pro-Canada bias from refs in all forms of hockey related tournaments.

Russia is not that good. 18-4 shots differential in the period. Start blaming the refs that they are not shooting at Canada's goal.

I thought the first two penalties were justified...the third was an unfortunate blown tire from the ice that caused the goalie collision. The second penalty was a dangerous play, quasi slew foot...silly penalty to take.

WHC is fun hockey, I like this better than the World Cup of Hockey this past September.

Thanks! Was an exciting game! Had fav players on both teams so it's a win/win for me. Though I was cheering for Russia a wee bit more because I would have loved to see Vasy get to play for gold. He's got a very bright future ahead! Hard to believe he's only 22.
