That's not true, Russia's D isn't that bad - it's kept Canada to no goals so far and they've managed to effective neutralise many of the Canadian attacks.

I'm talking Olympics. Russia is playing Canada's second and third tier players. Also big ice is a huge difference. Most of Russia has spent majority of their careers on big ice.
