C Boo Nieves easily won this round with nearly 80% of the vote. D Ryan Graves replaces him in the poll.

Please write who you want added to the poll, and give a reason for it. This makes the discussion here more lively.

WHO IS A PROSPECT: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/whatmakesaprospect

HOW TO RANK PROSPECTS: Based on their value in a hypothetical trade or waiver draft. This takes into consideration a prospect's ceiling, how close he's to making it, his health, work ethic, the whole deal. Imagine there was a prospect waiver draft and you could keep only one prospect. That guy is our #1 prospect. Then imagine we had one more waiver protection. That guy is our #2 prospect.

Voted for Hrivik because he almost made the Rangers this year and last. What's going on in Hartford makes everyone there look bad, but it's Kenny G's fault.

Add Skapski because NYR2k2 said so. Not a big fan of Andersson because he can't seem to stick in the SHL.

Went with Tambellini because he has the highest upside of those listed. Really a marked drop off after the top 12.

SAME exact thing that was being said about St Croix in last years poll.

St. Croix still has a high upside. With a coach different than Kenny G, I think he could've played AHL hockey this season. He is doing very well in the ECHL.

Tambellini... I'll always value upside in evaluating young players until it becomes clear that it isn't there. The prospect that that a young player might have a better chance to top out on a fourth line somewhere doesn't tantalize me.

Add Andersson.

When you get to the bottom of the barrel it's fun to shout "HELLO!" and listen to it echo.

Took Hrivik.
