Seriously, there is no end in site..

Maybe the city is cursed, Milwaukee sabres.. anywhere..

2011 last made playoffs.. Teams have gone through full rebuilds and are setting themselves up better then the sabres.
the Kraken are looking better as a franchise in 2 years then the sabres have..in 12..

The Pegulas tenure as owners is already the worst in league history. This will be the 12th full season they’ve owned the team. This will be their 12th straight year missing the playoffs.

Now I’ll wait for someone to credit them with that heroic run 11 years ago unironically.

Someone always does and it is amazing.

There’s enough of a good young core here that I believe it’ll come together but god I’m not sure I can keep watching until it does

I think this team could be competitive with about 4 roster moves, but it would take flipping some youth, which Adams doesn’t want to do.

Get a steady top 4 vet dman.
Get two forwards who can play top 9 but wants to do the dirty work.
Get a pest.
Profit

Oh, and get a real NHL coach

If we're Christmas listing, a goalie is getting added.

If Comrie is really injured, that may just have to happen.

And based on the last 6 trades, it'll be Future Considerations for a goalie no one wants.

I mean, if you just want to watch a different team in a different place, there's already 31 others you can pick from.

I'd kinda rather the Sabres stay in Buffalo.
Nope I get it, I am just ranting.. need to let it out or I'll go crazy

Beside if we keep losing, attendance woe's will be what sells the team..

Sorry but how many times has this been used as a reason to hope it gets better? How many more years are the fans willing to believe in this? It's now in its 12th season (!!!) and nothing, absolutely nothing has improved. At some point the most loyal fan loses faith that anything will ever change

Whatever you do Adams, don't lift one goddamn finger. A GM's work session is March. That's it, just March. The other 11 months of the year are about sitting in you chair and just staring at the desk

My goodness. I know it’s hard not to combine all the losing into one giant failure but this is not the time for that.

We have a very young talented team but it’s not a complete team. Try not to group this young team with others.

This team needs a new arena, there is a dark shadow that casts over the arena now. It's become a place I don't get excited going to because the Sabres suck.

Maybe a rich Saudi Oil Prince buys the Sabres and instead of spending money on a boat, he spends money on the team.

It's just a disgrace. Pegulas are incompetent clowns who have learned nothing over the years. I don't understand how a franchise can be run so badly. Sell!

I woke up with perspective.

Basically, for now, we're screwed. There is hope, but the hope is the following:

the guys producing (Tuch, Thompson, Dahlin) stay sane from all the losing long enough for the next wave to come of age. This previously failed (Reinhart,Eichel,Ullmark,Risto,McCabe all f***ed off elsewhere)

I don't care how, I just want a Pegula free Sabres
Replace Pegula with Golisano and this is a take we had 13-ish years ago where fans were tired of Golisano's budget team and wanted owners that would allow the team to spend without constraint.

Be careful what you wish for.
