Pretty sure they still have to pay but get a significant discount.

I don't know, actually. My CC got charged this morning for over $2,000 for six total seats for games 1 and 2 (three seats each game).

They are all in the lower bowl. I have two in section 112 and one solitary seat in 111.

So, they average around $340 each (or so). They don't break it down for me.

Anyway, selling the solitary seat throughout the playoffs has enabled me to actually afford this deep playoff run. Otherwise, I would be up **** creek. As it was, I had to sell all the BH game 6 seats to defer my costs...I've done that twice now this playoff season, but will be going to all the SCF home games; won't miss them for anything.

if we renew before a certain date we get a significant discount

I did renew early also, but I really don't know how much of a discount I got for playoff tickets (or is it season tickets for next season)?

Do you know? I will admit since all this **** goes on my CC I don't pay as much attention as I should to these costs. :/

You are a lucky guy. I was born & raised in La Habra, hung out in Brea as well. Been a Kings fan since 1974 when my Mother would take me to game from tix she got from work. Just curious if you have sold your solitary ticket seat yet?

Pretty awesome strategy Ron.

I listed it for $1,495 on StubHub, not sold yet. It's one of the lower priced seats in that section. I will lower it commensurate with ticket sales as the next couple of days pass, if need be. I don't have experience with selling SCF tickets in the lower bowl, but I do know that a section 300 seat was going for about a grand in 2012, which seems insanely ridiculous to me.

Pretty awesome strategy Ron.

For full disclosure, it doesn't work well in the regular season. Half the time I couldn't even sell the ticket, so I ate it.

It really only started taking off in the last month of the season, and it became a hot commodity in both the last two weeks of the regular season and all but one game in the playoffs (I might have listed it too high, still learning how to do this right.).

It is a risky strategy to buy extra seats just to sell them...if the Kings don't go deep in the playoffs, you can lose your shirt. I wasn't doing well at all earlier this season.

It should pay dividends in the playoffs though.

Yes, it makes sense for me, as long as the Kings continue to contend, I will continue to hold that single seat, maybe buy another just for the hell of it, if available.

The seats are few and far between during the opportunity for STH to purchase or change their seats in July. Considering this third straight deep run, I am not sure I will be able to change out my seats at all, actually. I would like to move up in my section because I am sitting too low to see clearly what is happening in the west end of the rink.

You receive a good sized discount if you renew in March for the following season. If Ron is going around $350 for lower bowl, then he is getting upper bowl face value price for a lower bowl seat.

I'm in the die-hard section so you don't even want to know what I'm paying, but I'll tell you anwyays since it is insane: $42.50 a ticket for the Final.

I have four seats total on my account with two of them paid for by friends of mine who go to every game. I've sold my extra to Game 3 of the ANA series because of a Morrissey show (which I also made a killing on selling an extra pair) and then also my extra to both Games 3 and 4. I relented on Game 6 and brought a friend instead of turning a profit but, yeah, it's been an awesome playoffs so far. Paid $29.50 a ticket for the WCF so I netted over $100 each time after StubHub fees. These sales would of been enough to cover my playoff expense at Staples but I had to go to Games 1 and 7 of the ANA series and I paid for my gf to go so that put me back $580.

Even with paying for the games at Honda Center (totally worth it even if I couldn't recoup the cost), I've spent $407 on the ten playoff games I've attended for an average of $20 a ticket. Probably net out $400 for my extra to Game 2, leaving me at $135 out-of-pocket for two tickets to 12 playoff games, including two in Anaheim, for an average of around $6 a seat. I'd be getting paid to go to the games if I wasn't a sap and let my friend go to Game 6 of the WCF for $29.50. Simply amazing.

Ron is right though about the regular season. Hard to move tickets unless it is a marquee team. Sometimes that isn't enough and it has to be on a Saturday night as well. No risk for me to carry my extra since I pay $13 a game, but it's no joke to carry a lower bowl extra during the regular season; however, it's a lottery ticket if they make it to the Final.

My parents bought a 10-game pack for this season. They've had the opportunity to purchase one playoff game per round. They got WCFs tickets for around $80 something for Game 4 and had me sell them to apply it to potential SCFs tickets. Even a first time, ten-game package owner got a good discount at $80 a ticket. If you are looking for next season, perhaps a 10-game package would be the way to go as you get a chance at playoff tickets at a discount.

The market is really pumped up by the bandwagon though. Game 6 tickets against ANA dropped to $70 just to get in as the bandwagon won't buy tickets unless they think the Kings will win. It's still a risk, even in the playoffs.

That's what I was paying also two seasons ago, my seats were in 334. $50 per SCF game, and I went to all three...my son said I should sell, because seats were going for $1,000 per game (insane), but I waited 45 years to see what I saw.

I will go to all the games again, and hopefully can sell the solitary seat each time to basically make it free tickets for the games I attend with my GF or friend.

We do get a discount but with the early renewal the price for round one was same price as regular season. Have not checked yet but I think mine are 110 each ticket in the 300 row 1 which is somehow a primer seat. Been going to games since the early 70's and STH since 88.

Yea after 2012 cup there were 2 seats in different row available in my whole section for select a seat. But I could never move as all my neighbors have been in the section since staples opened, some are like family.

I'm just to the edge of what is considered Center so I was at $30 a SCF ticket. Took my little sister to Game 4 instead of getting $1K for it. She is officially a Game 4 curse and will never go to a Game 4 again (Game 4 WCF 2012, Game 4 SCF 2012, Game 4 ANA this year). I did not make that mistake again and sold the extra for $400 to Game 6. If I sold the one for $1k, you better believe I would of booked a flight to Newark and bought a ticket for Game 5.

I'll sell the extra one but the point of my tickets is to go to the games. It's tempting when you are sitting on a nice profit but I have to go to the games.

After 12 years I'm not renewing again, but this is what I got charged per seat, per round. Not sure if the fact that I was a season seat holder got me a lower price, I suspect so. This is Section 301, row 5:

Round 1: $54/ticket
Round 2: $72
Round 3: $90
Round 4: $126

Well they are lower than face value for sure.

mine are in 318 and look about the same with 90 for r3 and 120 for scf, and my wife wants me to sell because I have game 7 tickets and was there for 2012 cup run and a month ago I might have thought about it but after this run I find myself wanting to win even more now, crazy huh, never thought I would be as happy as that night sports wise. I am a life long yankee and giants fan and a laker fan since they traded for jabbar(from my old neighborhood) with many championships between those teams nothing and I mean nothing was as good as that june night.....GO KINGS GO

Thanks for the feedback. So season seat holders def get a HUGE break no matter what. 100 Level cost Ron only $340 and those are going for over $1200 now and 300 level cost Bandit $126 and they are going for over $350.

Better deal to become a season seat holder if you know your team is going deep then.

That's the trick. I paid a metric ****ton of money to watch this team be god awful from 2003-2010.

I cringe so hard at these prices. How much do you people rake in yearly? I pay 10 bucks per game for a ticket, 13 for a playoff game, lol.

Sold our game 1's on stubhub yesterday, the proceeds covered the cost of those tickets, our tickets to game 2, and a good portion of game 5.

So even if the series goes 7, the people who bought our tickets to 1 game will have spent twice as much as we will for the other 3 combined.

So yeah, much cheaper.

does anyone have the presale code for TM for 8pm tonight? I will gladly give you the Rangers presale code so if someone wants to go they pay about face value. Im just trying to get tix anyway off stubhub lol.
