1g,0a in 9 GP for Seattle. Could Sprong be on the move again? Would Colorado be interested?

Why? Why do teams keep signing this guy? He can't and won't play defense.1g,0a in 9 GP for Seattle. Could Sprong be on the move again? Would Colorado be interested?
I think its a case of these GMs and coaches thinking they can be the guy to fix him. Tocchet basically told him this when he signed. Then it was evident that it wasn't going to work, and just gave him away. The skill is there, just that nothing else is. After being given away for free after waiting until August to sign, you have to think this is his last year in the NHLWhy? Why do teams keep signing this guy? He can't and won't play defense.
Because he has terrific speed and an elite shot and if you’re good at putting pucks in the net, which until this season Sprong has been good at, you’ll continue to get chances. Why? Why do teams keep signing this guy? He can't and won't play defense.

Agree for the most part, but if it clicked, he’d be a high end 1st line talent.Because he has terrific speed and an elite shot and if you’re good at putting pucks in the net, which until this season Sprong has been good at, you’ll continue to get chances.
If he played defense he’d be tailor-made for today’s game with his speed and offensive skillset so teams keep signing him hoping it clicks and he plays a complete game and they get a legitimate middle six forward for free.
