I remember Jones in LA, but not sure how he's been doing lately. He is on the final year of his rookie deal, so he does factor into the comp pick formula should Seattle let him walk at the end of the season.

Raheem Morris was the Rams DC for all 3 of Jones years in LA. Morris left for the ATL HC job and now the new DC is Chris Shula, who was the LB coach with the Rams before the promotion to DC. So, a bit odd that he fell out of favour so quickly after the DC change. Not like it's an outside the team DC coming in.

Just what the Rams do. This team always trades ILB before their second contract, regardless of how good they are or the team is. We traded Kenny Young to the Broncos midseason in 2021 (our Super Bowl year) even though he was starting at the time
