Flames don't need a RHS, they need a RHS that can play top 6 minutes and be effective. Geekie is like a lateral move on Ruzicka for the 4th line

No incentive for Arizona at all on that, they can just retain on Kessel this deadline and rack up more picks/prospects. Also very little incentive for Calgary as they have plenty of TDL cap space and this doesn't really improve their scoring depth while also creating a massive hole down the middle

but he is still more effective than literally no one at center in the 2/3C slot. Replacing him with Kessel doesn't fix the problem, Calgary will still lack depth scoring
