This is a bad hockey team.
I doubt it. Better teams will expose that goaltending. Just like Boston did last year.I can really see Carolina winning the cup.

It's unbelievable, really. I feel like this team could get McDavid and he would forget how to score.
Good news is, no chance Henrik retires like this. He's too much of a gamer. He'll play for 2 more years on league minimum backing up somewhere good.
Even bad experience is good. You can bet your ass the next time they get in,they will remember this feeling and use it as extra motivationThat’s playoff experience but uh, not a good one.
Finally a non-apocalyptic post. This year was a good step forward. Anyone who thought we were ready to compete were blinded by the fact that the team was hot for the last month of the season. They still have ways to go but are on the right trick. The rebuild continues. Here's to hoping for some draft luck.
Carolina has a great team. Scary to think they're that deep without two of their top 3 defensemen.
Figures Skjei would look like a completely different player on a new team.
I can really see Carolina winning the cup.
But you just did mention him...The bad of this series that really sticks out
Quinn and the Powerplay. Won't mention Staal cause he's always bad.
Great a 31st overall for Skjei.Carolina can win the cup. They are relentless.
Really depends on the team around it, but I'm not convinced the Rangers would spend the money wisely if they allocate that money elsewhereDo goalies really provide value? Is the difference between league average, and veznia-level big name, really worth the difference in cap hit?
We just got aced by a 33 year old journeyman. Does it make sense to play a Lundqvist 8M a year? Do we really hope Shesty gets that good and we have to pay him 10M?
I'm half tempted to ride Georgiev for a 5 year/15M deal. A Georgiev is about all you need to really make a cup run.
I think he knows he's done.Good news is, no chance Henrik retires like this. He's too much of a gamer. He'll play for 2 more years on league minimum backing up somewhere good.
I'm baffled why Gauthier doesn't play
I think he knows he's done.
We can only hopeWhat if Gorton has a nice offer for Georgiev and Hank has his retirement tour next year as Igor’s backup?

Not if they don't stay out of the penalty box. Just because we were incompetent on the PP, doesn't mean playoff competition will be.Carolina can win the cup. They are relentless.
