A little grit on the beach now...Toronto stop over before Robidas Island.
Presumably, but I doubt they will confirm thatDid he get injured in the fight with Lucic?
Andersen has less salary remaining than our cap space right now.$732,759 remaining and $823,313 in cap space. They could do it now couldn’t they?Probably step one in making room for andersen. "Go on LTIR and we'll give you a contract next season."

Side not also. Riley Nash only has $403,017 salary remaining.
They could have just sent him down and cleared his salary off the cap if he weren't injured.Probably step one in making room for andersen. "Go on LTIR and we'll give you a contract next season."
Simmonds
Hyman
Muzzin
Sabourin
Bogosian
what do they have in common? 2 things?
1. They are the grit on the team
2. They have all lost significant time with injuries
Can’t catch a break
Is he on a 2-way contract (cannot find it)? They could have just sent him down and cleared his salary off the cap if he weren't injured.
There's no need to go through some kind of charade if he's healthy because there's no cap advantage to using LTIR instead of a demotion.
I don't think you can demote an injured player, though.
Yes, he's on a two-way but its not like the Leafs are doing him a favour by putting him on the IR. Once he's injured they can't demote him. They have no choice about it.Is he on a 2-way contract (cannot find it)?
I always find that Leafs is an orginaztion very easy on their players since Dubas became the GM. So, maybe another GM's "nice" move.
He is on a two way, yes, a pretty good two way deal, actuallyIs he on a 2-way contract (cannot find it)?
