I think, out of all the D chosen for TC including the taxi squad, it would be Dan Boyle. He plays a similar style to Nieds.

There were 2 mistakes in team Canada. #1 was putting McCabe on the team. #2 was replacing Niedermeyer with Bouwmeester. I think J-Bo should have been on the team, but in McCabe's spot, not Niedermeyer's. Canada really does not have the offensive spark in the back end. Which Dan Boyle could have brought. Boyle is the closest style to Scott you could have found, and they made a mistake with the selections.
