If they lose this series I definitely need a mental reset from this team but I’ll always be grateful they won. A choke last year would’ve been it for me mentally as a fan of this team. I could’ve never been as invested ever again. If they lose this year it’ll suck because they had the chance to be one of the greatest teams ever. It’s so hard to be as invested when you've watched your team achieve a cup as a fan. Nothing will ever feel as good as that moment.

It was great, maybe if they get another one in my lifetime I'll bring myself to watch more than the last 30 seconds

They are going to get a shit storm to start tomorrow nights game. I believe this team can handle that storm, and come back home up 3-2.

Tough game to swallow.

They have an AHL journeyman in net and playing with 5D, yet we just sat back and let them tie up another game.

At what point do the coaches adjust their strategy with a lead? Why are we just coasting for 2 periods trying to hold on against the two best players in the league?

Top line has been super meh, E Rod is a stain to the second line - every play dies on his stick. And why is line four getting four shifts in OT?

Just puzzling stuff. Saturday will be make/break for both teams.

Maurice HAS to take a time out or let the guys have it on the bench once he notices Oilers are playing better and mounting a comeback. This can’t happen again. It’s the SC finals for god’s sake. Coaches need to do something when they see the other team getting their swag back and we’re just turtling.

It seems pretty obvious what is happening as a viewer. And it has happened 3 games out of 4. You would think they would do something to stem the tide. I know each team has their moments. But it becomes pretty obvious when there is wave after wave of attack and we are just hemmed in and icing the puck a lot.

It's my fault. Too much positivity from me in the last GDT. I fell for it. Why did i fall for it. Back to my doom and gloom and "disappearing".

Panthers were the better team in 3 out of 4 periods. There's another great team on the other side, they (usually) aren't going to just roll over and die. After the Panthers' monster 1st period, the Oilers were in desperation mode and Panthers spent some of their energy already. It happens and that's when you need your $10M goalie to not let in shitters.

And sure, Maurice could've called a timeout, but if the score is the same and he doesn't have a timeout before that 6 on 5 at the end, he'd be getting shit on too.

I also don't get the shitting on Barkov. McDavid and Drai were split this game. Barkov played against McDavid and McDavid barely created anything 5v5 this game. Line 3 was on the ice for most of the goals against from the Oilers shitters and don't see anyone complaining about that.

Really this game came down to us going up on the power play early. Oilers didn't lay down and die. McDavid and Drai got split up, Barkov neutralized McDavid, but Drai and company carved up the rest of the team. Bob played really uneven. And in the end we still lost on a flukey play.

We've been the better team overall, don't think anyone can argue otherwise. Just need to keep plugging away and hope the bounces don't keep screwing us.

Ekky bleeds Panthers and that's the only reason I'd keep him.
But his body has taken a huge toll. The game is much faster now a days. With 7 million, Zito can do a lot of damage.
It's a tough one. Before our runs I was in the camp to not re-sign him at all costs, but he's been a warrior these past 3 years.
But it has to be a discount I'm sorry. The team will be a contender for a few more seasons I think, and we need to keep adding new blood to revitalize the team. I hope that if he does leave we can at least give him a Stanley Cup send off.
