I think it was more Edmonton acknowledging they realized it, they basically stalled the play. Had they made any attempt at a forward pass up the ice it was going to get called but the fact they basically said "yeah we F'd up" they let it go

It really wasn't that egregious. Like three Oilers were literally at the bench not moving. Anyone here claiming it was a blatant miss are just rooting for Florida.
