Without Richards we're not in the Final and that's more about the room than about the ice.

I have no doubt about mr. de facto captain's leadership in the locker room. but in the finals it's all about leading by example at this point. this team is bonded and is brimming with leadership at this point. lead on the ice by example is what wins championships. This is the absolute worst time for Richards to play some of his worst hockey of the season.

Uh no he's been a pretty large detriment recently lol. Yea, he has scored big goals for us in the past (game winner in penguins series) but the entirety of his play in recent games has been unacceptable.

He's also the first Norwegian born player to even appear in the SCF (or even any playoff game later than the 2nd round if I'm not mistaken).

I didn't say he's not putting up points. I said he needs to be better. He's caused a bunch of bad turnovers by mishandling the puck and is too slow to get puck.
