Oh and Richards has looked really bad. His ice time needs to be limited and we may need to remove him from the point on the PP (and I normally like him on the PP because he is one of our few guys willing to take it and shoot). He's just too slow and any time he fumbles the puck at the point it can cause disaster. I might try Stepan on the right point (so we have 1 R/1 L) and get Nash back up on the PP (with Stepan taking the FO I guess). Kinda worried about having Stepan on the point with his refusal to shoot but I'd probably prefer him than one of Girardi/Klein/Stralman

Hasn't been the case all year. Even in winter.

The Garden ice is awful when there are events on top of events, especially when the Knicks are home for an extended period at the same time the Rangers are.

If the ice can settle without a ton of building activity, it's not bad.

He's had at least two passes to no one in the defensive zone. It is his biggest shortcoming.

It's not lucky when the Rangers are playing on the same ice.

Yeah but McDonagh can't hold a torch to Doughty amirite?

Doughty 17 pts in 22 games but they've been fairly consistent he had 5 games against Anaheim where he didn't do anything but otherwise he's scored in each round.

McDonagh 16 points in last 12 games played.

Too many full and partial breakaways. If Girardi had been out, we'd be screwed.

He's been unreal. The McDonagh we're seeing right now is unlike anything I've ever seen from him, or any Ranger for that matter. I feel like he's gone... Full Potential McDonagh.

We all knew that he wasn't done developing, but can it even get any better than this? He's even developed a mean streak here. Guy is unreal.

Agreed. he really kills the PP at least against the kings

He alone sabotaged the first half of the power play.

OIOH, the Zucc line has been superb, as has Hagelin (again).
