Hey all,

Is Saturdays opener only on NHL network? I'm in Boston and normally watch on NESN. Are they really giving us hockey back and then making it impossible to watch the opener?

NESN has the regional rights too the game, as NHL Network has the rights to everywhere basically... That's the way it usually works.

I hope so cause Comcast and the nesn website both list:

7:00pm Lord Stanley's Summer
7:30pm 2011 Quest for the Cup - Boston Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup Playoff Hockey

Nothing is ever exclusively on NHL Network. Unlike NBC/NBCSN, they do not have their own broadcast team. They simply grab the feed from other broadcasters, either national like CBC or TSN, or local.

Any Bruins game that isn't exclusive to someone else is always on NESN.

do any of you guys use gamecenter?
I'm pretty sure games on the nhlnetwork are blacked out, but if nesn has the game as well I should be able to watch that , yes/no?

thanks in advance if anyone knows the answer.

Just a heads up to Comcast users: Saturday, Monday and Friday's games are now showing up on the guide for NESN.
