Hi, Blues fan here. Any update on Fischers injury?

Should be back in lineup tonight upper body injury usually means a shoulder if out over 5 weeks. Just hope it isnt a re injure type of year like dillingham had just lingered all season in and out of line up type of thing.

Hoping we can have young back in lineup too as hurt isn't Quite handling his increased minutes nor is barr or Bodin. We need those 2 guys back, minute gobblers back in lineup

Excited to see Beamish as alot of hype on him last season see what it was all about.
I remeber the same talk about wainwright at 16 putting up big numbers in JR A hope beamish can contribute like he did.
Getting a more healthy lineup shows DS what is needed for future and might have to trade sooner than later to build for next 2-3years mainly a starting goalie and better support staff lol hopefully a real D coach and special teams Coach.

Yeah his team did him no favours but 3 of those goals he should have had.

Was at the game, cool to see! CHL completely outmatched NTDP in every phase which made me kind of happy.

Beamish as 4C. Wow. Figured they'd put him higher in the lineup. But for the first time in awhile they are building continuity with the lines. Be interesting to see if he's on either PP or PK.

I thought so too but it makes sense considering the kid just got a few days ago at the earliest. He probably hasn't had any time to learn the team's systems yet. I wouldn't be shocked to see him on the fourth line this weekend and then move him up in the lineup next weekend

Need there best effort of the year today. Flint is 1 PT behind them. Fischer back. Beamish in. Gotta get this season back on track & losing today when you have Brampton/Saginaw this weekend would not be the way to do that.

Feeling tonight is the night Brown finds the back of the net. He needs it in the worst way.

Nearly 15 minutes into their biggest game & they have 1 shot & 0 chances. Just terrible.

Well can't say I'm shocked, D has the 2 only shots.
BARR doesn't get on his man off draw and flint scores. Just not intensity for a game like this. Lose and DS has back against wall.

Fischer trying to Do too much, can't make up for 15 games in 1 game lol

Played a bit better after the goal, but still not anywhere near good enough. Beamish line was our best. Spent all 4 shifts in FLTs end & he went 3/4 on face offs. Barr/Hurt are struggling badly. Cant even make routine D to D passes. Fischer couple strong plays & nearly tied it, but definitely shaking off some rust.

better play a whole lot better than that the next 40.

Line 2 is aweful, nothing going on seems like guys on 3 different pages. Filak skating well on 1st line, 3rd line looks like going through motions tonight. Need a period regroup and come out with energy.
Think it's a tupe of game franchesschetti or moses need to get boys going.
Beamish looks like he will be solid, if gets to play with some players with more skill.
Not a big crowd here tonight, not loud so that's not against us but we are playing into their game.

Line 2 is aweful, nothing going on seems like guys on 3 different pages.

Need to get them both away from Johnston. Dude is sucking the life out of any puck movement or pacing.

Edwards isn't the same at wing either. L3 had a really good final shift that hopefully they can build off of.

Line 3 closed the period with a couple shifts. Good chances from Doucette and Kostuch. Fourth line was great with Beamish there. They definitely need more energy. Physicality was non-existent. Need someone like Franceschetti to wake them up with a big hit

In such a big game this team looks totally & completely lifeless. This with their captain making his return after 5 weeks & a new addition playing. Nobody throwing hits. Nobody blocking shots. Nobody battling out front to screen Day.

This is about as alarming as it can get.

Johnston since 1st few games has been an anchor on any line Edwards isnt same as a winger that's forsure
Think filak better winger as well

Another lazy play at flints blue line from johnston I just cant watch this here. Johnston has worn out his welcome someone else needs that ice that he gets that wants to work for it.
So frustrating to watch

Somehow only down 1 after 2. What a nice goal by Karimov after a nice pass by Filak. Utterly ridiculous the refs wouldn't let Hurt & Aspinall fight, but it kept us on a PP & saved Hurt an instigator probably so I guess it was for the better lol.

If there isn't a big push in this 3rd period this team has serious issues because this effort has been putrid. In saying that my god Flint is also so uninspiring. Pretty surprising with how many vets they have.

Constant blender causes less chemistry on an entire team when we need chemistry as season goes by. That's a result of not being able to create chemistry as effective combos haven't been kept long enough to build that. I put that on Letang trying to always find something else when he finds an effective line or 2.

Effort level is very low. Bad turnovers, not finishing checks, and not tying up sticks. Beauty by Karimov at the end of the period to get us within one. I need to see a completely different hockey team in the third if they're going to come away with two points

dare I say Johnston is being benched right now?? Hasn't seen a shift 5 minutes in. Obviously hope isn't hurt but don't believe he is. Beamish been elevated.

Well the blender put karimov Brown and wainwright together anice pass by Wainwright to spring karimov for a sick dangle to tie. Keep them together and team playing better with Johnston on bench

Pathetic. Utterly pathetic. Letang uses his TO all the time to set stuff up but with a new unit he doesn't when if u score u win the game.

Seriously mind numbing & had Clattenburg scored I think I would've sold my tickets for this weekend's games.

First shift of OT they use Bodin instead of Fischer lmfao. Bodin would've had a breakaway but fumbled with it. Sure wish that was Lukas!

Then Doucette ices it with a tired group out and Letang doesn't use his timeout and they spent 3 minutes straight defending.

Awful. So goddamn awful.
