Pretty exciting that I feel like Melch, Blichfeld, Chmelevski, and Coe seem like pretty decent prospects, and there's a few more guys who will likely never make it out of the AHL, but do have enough upside that if they ended up top 9/bottom pairing guys I wouldn't be shocked. Plus there's the four late rounders from this year, who hardly played.

On the flip side I was pretty excited for Sgarbossa and Sadowy.

With the pandemic last year it's really hard to get a read on all the draft picks from the last 2 years that didn't play much or at all. It's going to be very interesting to see how everyone does this year. Entirely based off of the prospect scrimmage I'm curious about Theo Jacobsson and Timofey Spitserov in particular.

Still carrying the torch for Sasha, though I'd go with Coe after him.

I agree. I think Raska has the potential to be a really good energy player. Definitely someone you don't have to worry about being able to play a bottom 6 type game.
I liked him at the Worlds and then he looked like a line-completer at the prospect game with Reedy and Guch

5'10", 170# - do you guys really think he has the physique to be a banger at the NHL level?

It sounds like he's closer to 180 pounds now, so I wouldn't worry about that yet.

I don't have him this high, though, anyway.

sometimes its about being annoying and taking the hits given.

Something 99% of this current roster simply does not do

Scott Nichol was 5’8, 179 but played aggressive, hard nose and physical. Great bottom player. There are many examples, I guess. So I don’t care about Raska’s height and weight. And he is just 20.

So, Raska = the next Sorensen? :D:popcorn:
(I liked Sorensen's energy)

Getting a Sorensen-level career out of a 7th round pick would be pretty good. Obviously you hope that Raska turns into something more, but if ten years from now we look back and see one 30-point season and a few years as a depth NHL forward, we have to consider that a success.
