14 points in 24 games so far isnt bad, but he still has yet to prove anything. He's certainly taking a long time to be an elite player. Does Buffalo have any interest in moving him, and do other teams want to trade anything for him? I bet the asking price is huge. Buffalo needs a good defender, could a deal be made to acquire one?

7 points in his last 6 games - he's finding his scoring touch.

The least I would trade him for is Noah Hanifin.

Look at others his age and younger. He isnt living up to all the hype i've heard of him.

What? Most 21 year players aren't in the league yet...he had 23 goals last year.

Either way, if you think he's not developing properly, maybe you shouldn't ask for him in a trade. We're perfectly fine with keeping him.

I'm so tired of 50 million Reinhart trade proposals or Evander Kane trade proposals where people want him but say he's worthless so we should just give him to you

In spite of the fact I am biased I still take Draisaitl over Reinhart in a re draft but nobody else. Not Ehlers or Nylander , as good as they are.

Reinhart is going to be a Selke winning 30 goal scorer by time he is 28 years old. He is the real deal. Worthy of a 2nd overall in an average draft.

I would take him on the oilers for Draisaitl but im sorry if the sabres fans agree or not, they would have to add a mid level to decent prospect.

I'm sure we're tripping over ourselves to trade Reinhart. The Sabres are at their best by virtually every metric when Reinhart is on the ice. Every player with whom he's played for a significant sample is substantially better with Reinhart than without. Perhaps most importantly, he brings out the best in Eichel, who is by far the organization's most important player.

We are looking for a defender - not at the expense of Sam Reinhart, however. That's robbing Peter to pay Paul, and very likely makes us worse.

Look at others his age and younger. He isnt living up to all the hype i've heard of him.

Have you yet alerted the fanbases of Dylan Larkin, Sam Bennett, et al. that their guys aren't "living up to all the hype?" Hell, William Nylander and his 16 pts in 23 games - marginally better than 14 in 24 - must not be "living up to the hype," either.

He was never expected to be a Matthews or mcdavid so not really sure what you're on about here

Kid just turned 21 and he looks to be on track . . Not a lot of talent to play w in Buffalo prob hurt his early numbers but it's not like he fell off a cliff alla strome

I would certainly consider that.

Only thing that gives me pause is that Aho is a centre while Nylander is one of the very few high end wingers we have in the system.

Hard pass.

Aho has played wing for us. But the addition of Aho and Nylander makes no sense anyways.

Aho plays left wing as well, IIRC. I'm not sure exactly what you mean at the end. It seems like you think it's a fair deal, but when people say "hard pass" they normally mean "easy pass." I'm thinking you actually mean it's more hard to pass on the deal, but I may be wrong.
