Politally incorrect
James Guo will be gone for quite a spell this time. That's 2 swings, 2 strikes... one more he's out!
I'd say they are confused because it seems to be happening more and more with Saginaw where a player get's off with a hand slap.Show me a league that hands out suspensions in an even handed and logical way and I’ll show you a league that doesn’t exist.
I’m not condoning anything, I just don’t get why people are confused. Have you never followed sports before? There isn’t a league for any sport where people look at suspensions and say, “yeah, that seems about right” more than a quarter of the time.

Both repeat offenders. I'm not interested in comparing to Boulton, that guy gets what he deserves, but again Haulltunen has never been suspended before, gets 4 games, and didn't take a baseball swing to a players head or cross check someone in the faceAs far as the Parekh major and 1 game that was consistent with what Bilecki just got from the Rangers (stick up somewhat in self defense against a charging player). Bilecki as a rookie has no history. Has Parekh been suspended before?
Guo swing is right up there with Boulton's. Was contact made? What is Guo's rap sheet (I honestly don't know). If contact wasn't made and/or he hasn't a lengthy history it aligns with the league's punishment on Ryder.
Don't need to get me started on the league's ineptitude towards repeat offenders. Just that these 2 incidents were of similar severity and got the same punishment.
Guo got 5 games last season for a swing that connected with a SSM players head. Trying to do it again should have been more than 4 games. As far as the Parekh major and 1 game that was consistent with what Bilecki just got from the Rangers (stick up somewhat in self defense against a charging player). Agreed. 8-10ish would be more appropriate in my estimation.Guo got 5 games last season for a swing that connected with a SSM players head. Trying to do it again should have been more than 4 games.
Halts was overpunished but worth more than 1. Can't deck guys from behind, especially if they haven't even played the puck. Both repeat offenders. And a crosscheck to the face, plus another one to the back by a repeat offender is worth only 1?Agreed. 8-10ish would be more appropriate in my estimation.

I'm only interested in comparing similar acts, and tacking on more for repeat offenders. Regardless of name on the back or crest on the front.
Absolutely not. 4-6 for Parekh. We know this league is not consistent. Bad look. And a crosscheck to the face, plus another one to the back by a repeat offender is worth only 1?
