Sacco leaves Swayman in for 8 GA. Did he cross a line?

Agreed. Pretty lame move by Frederic fighting a total non fighter. Not to mention throwing after ko'ing the guy.

What I dont get is Lowry challenging Zadorov after. If you want to send a message that what Frederic did was unacceptable, he should have destroyed Pastrnak.
yea because the call up on the Jets and Pastrnak are equal.

Sacco should be alternating goalies. Swayman has absolutely no history of playing well in a number one role.

The TEAM lost 8-1................why do the goalies always get thrown under the bus.
Coach's fault...............goalies fault.................the rest of the team?? GM??
coach has been fired
GM has been blasted.
team has been bashed.

The poor playing, hold out over paid goalie is suppose to be untouchable?

Sacco wanted to pull him at 7 but Swayman wanted to hold out for 8.5

It might just be the most "liked" or interacted with comment in HFB history

It honestly baffles me more that the Bruins weren’t able to figure out both Ullmark and Swayman were propped up by strong Bruins teams. I get you don’t want to get stuck with no goalie, but I certainly would’ve moved away from both the moment they started talking top 5-10 money.

This just isn't true. Bruins goaltending was huge last season and played a big part in our success. They weren't propped up anymore than they were propping us up.

No question.

Lowry wouldn't do that anyway. In the post game interview he said he asked Zadorov since he is the toughest guy on the roster and that should put an end to the nonsense. Which it did.

Well done by all involved. Imaging the Bruins were not thrilled with Stanley hitting Pastrnak high early on and then later the self high stick flop to seal the game. Game was over and the Bruins at last with a statement, sorely lacking the past few seasons.

Teams moved on after that. Bruins onto the next one and Jets added a few more goals for the laughs. Hardly an issue.

Swayman however is looking very poor character and player wise after those negotiations.

I always used to say to the goalies on my team - if I had a bad game as a defenceman I still have to go out there and get hit and block shots. Why do you get to stop playing when you suck?

Actually… any reasonable coach would bench you.

Just like any reasonable coach would realize he needs a confident goalie to bail your slowass out next game and erase most of your mistakes so that they don’t even become a topic of conversation and you can go on blissfully ignorant. ;)

Goalies can get their share of humility on any given night… letting in the third goal in a 3-2 loss can stick with you for days. Whether it was your fault or not. Just go down to the rink after your local Pee-Wee team loses 3-2, you’ll recognize the goalie… usually the only kid still not smiling 5mins after the game. And the ones that keep playing the position are ok wearing that risk of humiliation nightly… so you can keep smiling even on a night when maybe you shouldn’t be.

What’s the point of shoving his nose in dog poop on a night when clearly the whole team sucked? Is that some sort of alpha coaching move? Lol… spoiler alert: it’s not going to work.

He went after Zadorov for a hit on Scheifele that they didn’t like.
