It almost feels like a punishment having to go back to watching Sabres hockey after the 4 nations tournament.
Not only do we get Sabres hockey, but all of the shitty members of the Rangers who we just saw falling over themselves at the Four Nations tournament too. That probably means that Fox will score a goal and pick up four assists on them tonight with Kreider scoring a pair and Trocheck beating Krebs into a coma.

Excited to see our guys play again. Obviously losing streak ruined playoff hopes and, evidently, plenty of people's interest in the season, but the team was playing fairly well before the break.
There's plenty to watch for between UFA re-sign/trade decisions and hoping to see some development/life from guys who are going to be core here for seasons to come. I'd really like to see UPL finish the season with positive momentum.

I'm thinking the leadership/vet group (Dahlin, Tuch, Thompson, Zucker) come out ready to go and inspired by the breaking tournament, trying to drag the rest of the team with them. The young core (Power, Sammy, Quinn, Cozens) however are completely unengaged showing absolutely no self reflection over the break and ultimately drag the rest of them down.
Close game, which the Sabres lose in the 3rd. 3-2.
