What would it take for the Sabres to trade for both players?
Probably more than I think we should pay. Demko is not taking Vancouver to the promised land and Boeser has toppled from my wish list in the last couple years. I would think long hard about this.

Demko is seriously damaged goods right now. Was supposed to be out 4-6 weeks. It’s 10 weeks now and he suffered a setback in practice today. Who knows if/when he’ll be back. A d what level of play he’ll be capable of. If I was a GM I’d stay far away. He has a long history of injuries and only 1 acutely full season as a starter. Red flags everywhere you look

Or is it that the Canucks tank would sustain major damage if Demko came in?

Contrary to popular opinion players don’t fake injuries to help a team tank. He practiced for 30 minutes today then left early. Also, Based on how he’s played so far this season he’d probably help the tank.
Players don’t.

Mgmt sure does.

Just ask Keller.
