Senators' Chabot set to return vs. Sabres after lower-body injury

Ottawa Senators defenceman Thomas Chabot confirmed to reporters ahead of the game against the Buffalo Sabres that he's set to return after a month-long absence with a lower-body injury.

A win puts them two games below .500. A loss could give Ottawa some life, especially since they have 6 games in hand. Hate to call it a deciding factor in the season, but it really kind of is.

I completely get it, playoffs are such a far shot at this point and waiting for them to go on a tear in March to go into the off season feeling good about next year is tiring at this point.

FFS. Just tried loading up the Jets-Wild game, and guess what... f*** you TSN. I am a paying subscriber and the entire country is "in-market"?!?!

Do you wonder why people use alternative streaming sites?

Must win game. Hells bells, the next two after this one are also must win.
 
Sabres have 34 points in 37 games played. Good for a .459 point percentage. That is going approximately 4-5-1 every 10 games. It is a 75 point pace for the season.

Assuming 96 points gets the last wild card spot, the Sabres need to get 62 points over 45 games, which is a .689 point percentage. That is going approximately 6-3-1 every 10 games.

Winning 2 out of every 3 games the rest of the way is a tall order. I think we need to go on a significant hot streak to get back into the playoff picture.

This team is so weird.

Tyson Jost plays 1st line center with TT out and is waived the next day.

Joker gets scratched for 3 games and comes back and plays over 22 minutes last night.
