I’m gonna be honest here… Some of the Sabres have impressed me tonight. Thompson and Tuch, in particular

They are a really interesting combination of REALLY HUGE and PRETTY DAMN FAST.

They are going to be interesting to watch heading into next year

Lyubushkin was borderline unplayable today so Liljegren and Holl had to pick up the slack.

Tons of whining about Holl but nothing about a literal dog**** effort from Lyubushkin today. He should be benched next game.

I guess Boosh must have used telepathy to make Brodie and Holl screw up.

He shouldn't be over here, but we need to just take it on the chin. Losing the season 3-1 to Buffalo, being smashed 5-2 in each of the losses, is pretty embarrassing. Not the end of the world in the big picture, but the Sabres were definitely the better of the two teams this year, head-to-head.

Credit where it's due.

You are right - Holl does try to make plays with the puck instead of just coughing it up constantly like certain other dmen.

Brodie has been really bad at times lately. Probably a consequence of always activating the defense in complex puck possession schemes but he's been bobbling everything and running around like a chicken with its head cut off fairly regularly.

The entire d core besides Liljegren was sub par tonight. The forwards were no better.
