The first line has been utterly dogshit today:

Marner has had some of the worst puckhandling I’ve seen from him this entire season

Matthews looks checked out

bunting hasn’t done much to really help and doesn’t know what scoring is

I'm sick of Tavares and Holl. Anytime either touch the puck its a turn over or the play dies. Our 4th line also needs to be remade in the offseason it sucks.

Because they know that they’re going to be measured by how they do in the post season, these are teams they can sleep against for fifty minutes and crank it up to grab the dub.
It’s easier to get up for good teams as those are considered measuring sticks throughout the season

Even the top line is missing a beat

Tavares once again is having a terrible game. It takes him ages to get across the ice and loses the puck as soon as he has it.

Need to shake up the lines in the third. This is dreadful

I think it’s time for Keefe to change the lines. Nylander on the third line isn’t working. Our second line has zero chemistry. When our first line plays like dog feces like they have tonight, it just makes everything else more prevalent.
 
Hopefully the Cavs can make a push and make this play in game interesting so at least there’s something worth watching.
 
I just don’t understand how they can dominate top teams and play like contenders for weeks and then as soon as they play Buffalo on home ice they completely mail it in. Three games in a row against Buffalo, I just don’t understand it. If they do that in the playoffs, they are toast.

I assume you mean tonight, because before this flat performance, the new 2nd and 3rd lines were looking pretty good.
 
Also…I just think nylander on the third line without kerfoot tonight makes no sense.

Nylander could use kerfoot a helluva lot more than JT rn
